Noteful - Music Generator
A downloadable asset pack for Windows
Noteful is a flexible & lightweight audio asset for GMS2.3+
It allows you to very easily play pitched sounds in such a way that it gets played back in a different tone height!
This can be used to create in-game instruments, sound effects that change depending on music, and even play procedurally generated music!
Oh, about that~ This asset also provides an example object which procedurally generates music! It is fully commented, easy to understand and change, and actually doesn't sound too bad! (It's pretty experimental though~) The demo for this is freely avalible down below, so you can see for yourself.
This project is inspired by Dunc's Algomusic, an incredible project I was really fascinated by- but then I read through the source code and things got pretty overwhelming. I hope this system helps people more easily grasp how to do these things in GMS2.3+!

Can this be incorporated into commercial projects?
Had a small problem but reimporting fixed it so works wonderful out of the box!
You did so much work on this! I'm excited to use this in future projects since I can just slot in different sounds to change the songs generated, or modify the code pretty easily. Wonderful work.
